Rational Thought, Environmental Ethics and EIR Lawsuit Reality Checks
Many folks believe that for mankind to handle the CO2 emissions issues that we will need a little bit of a social movement to force this to occur. And many socialists feel that anyone or individual that gets in the way of such effort should be culled and criminalized? Interesting indeed, this thought process?
It is the same old game; Do as I say not as I do. Your individual perspective is fine as long as it matches mine. Personally, I have no problem exerting a little bit of "rational thought" onto the masses once in a while, as they are unwilling to think for themselves and they are liable to drive us all off a railroad bridge one day.
It has been said that; Socialism is a train wreck looking for a location, by "Anonymous" for fear of castration. If society goes around and kills the 100th monkey or 1 millionth human then we should expect stagflation, inflation and collapse, ask Jered.
Well I do enjoy the Global Environmental Ethics Debate although I would WARN against too much environmental controls and lawyer driven bureaucracy, due to the hindsight we have seen with EIR blockage of very good projects such as add-ons to power plants to make them cleaner and more efficient.
I have seen EIR lawsuits preventing ocean wave energies from getting the land they need to put in, as well as Blockage of needed dams for water retention, hydro-electric power or barge transportation. One real problem is the environmental lawyers and fake data and lawsuits preventing upgrades, new facilities and more efficient systems. Many times the EIR lawsuits are completely bogus and NIMBY driven, by radicals; in name of and in name only of Environmentalism.
How do the environmental scientists deal with such a reality check, does their research papers address the reality? You see, if we do nothing, those with no argument will have the same pain as those who had the solutions that no one would hear. I hope you might consider all this in 2007.
