Article Marketers and Ethics
It is important to be ethical in article marketing and yet in studying this venue I often see article marketers who are less than what I consider ethical. It is not often, most are some very nice people and yet there are a few who have no problem promoting stuff on the internet that does not work or that they may not even believe in.
Recently, I ran across a lady; Lets call her Leslie, but that is not her real name. Leslie is from Canada and a good 300 plus pounds and has been for quite a while. Being over weight its self is not the issue, most humans in first world countries are, we all know that. The problem is that she is peddling dietary supplements and special meals using the Multi-Level Marketing Approach.
Leslie writes articles which are 500 or more words generally to make sure her readers of her online articles get the information and that it sinks in. It is possible for someone to tell us about their latest health care dietary supplements and special diet meals in packages in 200-300 words. The same ones that they themselves have been taking for 2-3 years and wish to sell online, even if they are 300 Lbs and it is not working.
They can still tell all the readers how great it is to divert targeted internet traffic to their website to make sales or money on PPC ads. The problem with this is Leslie either does not use them since she is still 300 Lbs or they do not work after three-years and she is peddling snakeskin oil. Which is it?
Either way in my opinion Leslie, that is not really her real four-letter name is lying to the her customers and misrepresenting what she is selling online. I find this to be appalling and unethical in my opinion. Are you ethical in your online marketing? Consider all this in 2006.
