Who Ever Said Patience is a Virtue was a Lazy Man

Have you ever been trying really hard at something and you just want to succeed faster and then someone says to you that; "Patience is a Virtue." Well, I know when they say it, they mean well, yet it often upsets us when they say this. All my life people have been telling me this, so I did a little study recently and each time someone tells me this, I make a note of it.

Next, I secretly check the person's resume, credentials and achievements and you know what I found? These same people that run around telling everyone else that "Patience is a Virtue" are not operating at their optimum. Now some have achieved some wonderful things and had success in their life. But my point is that they are operating below their abilities.

Now then this poses a huge problem in that how can underachievement be a virtue that anyone would ever wish to subscribe too? Who ever said Patience is a Virtual in the first place. I cannot find the quoting man. Perhaps he was a Lazy Man and never achieved anything and this is why no one knows who the first person to say it was.

Once someone told me who was awarded this quote and yet, I found out later that he had borrowed the quote from someone else? Thus it seems that patience is not a virtue at all. In fact if we could reverse this concept and get everyone to agree that patience in life is the enemy. Maybe we could get rid of procrastination, bureaucracy and the many other attributes that clog the life experience? Stop using this quote and either - lead, follow or get out of my way!
