Ghostwriter Ethics Need to be Addressed in Online Article Marketing

Are all the players or authors in online article ethical? Is there any ethical standard? Should there be? Many questions indeed; now then, if an article author or article marketer hires a ghostwriter to write articles for them and then claim them as their work; is that ethical? Well, let us look at a couple of scenarios shall we?

First, an online article marketer or article expert writes a few paragraphs about a subject or explains a thought to a ghostwriter by email and the ghostwriter then writes it up or the expert talks into a digital recorder and the ghostwriter puts it into proper sentence structure and jazzes it up a bit. Is that ethical? In my opinion yes it is.

Next lets take a different scenario and the one which troubles me; Those who just pay others to write all their articles and provide no input and then take credit, while not caring because they are merely hoping to attract target traffic in some endeavor.

Now if Tom Clancy has some ghostwriters, well they are already writing fiction, not non-fiction and they generally do give the other writers some credit as Co-authors. You see, there are many scenarios where ghostwriters are ethical and there are some, which amount to less than ethical behavior. Like someone paying someone else to write their master thesis for them and then signing their name to it and turning it in, when they did not even do the work.
